Sunrise Nursery is one of the largest plant nurseries in the Sacramento area growing a wide selection of shrubs and trees. We offer competitive pricing on a variety of products and a broad scope of services. With the market constantly changing, we continue to improve our nursery and orchards to cater to the needs of our clients and always strive to provide first class service with a personal touch. Sunrise Nursery is owned and operated under the guidance and leadership of Raj Sharma.

About Us

Raj Sharma purchased his first ranch consisting of 333 acres of English Walnuts and Cling Peaches in early 1989.

Another 120 acres of English Walnuts were added the same year. In 1991 Raj added a third parcel consisting of 160 acres of English Walnuts and a walnut processing plant.

These three parcels are continuous and now make up the main ranch and Sunrise Nursery.The main ranch produces English Walnuts, Cling Peaches, Freestone Peaches, seasonal fruits and vegetables in addition to the nursery trees and shrubs.

In 1996, Raj continued to expand and purchased 774 acres of open land and established a City Greenbelt Buffer between the cities of Vacavile and Dixon.Witihin 2 years the land was completely planted with English Walnuts and Freestone Peaches and a variety of other fruits and vegetables.

The orchard running along I-80, between Sacramento and San Francisco, continues to grow.
